Refund Policy

1. General Provisions

1.1. This document defines the refund conditions for makeui.dev services (style guide generation using artificial intelligence).

1.2. Style guide generation services are digital services, the result of which is provided electronically.

1.3. These conditions have been developed in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and take into account the specifics of digital services.

2. Our Guarantees

2.1. We guarantee:

A style guide will be generated — the result will be created and available for download;

The file will be technically correct — it will open, be readable, in the declared formats (JSON, Markdown);

You will receive the result within the stated time — maximum 2 hours from the start of generation;

The result will meet basic quality criteria — contain a color palette, typography, visual components.

2.2. If we do not fulfill the guarantees from clause 2.1 — credit restoration or full refund.

3. When Refunds Are NOT Provided

3.1. Refunds are NOT provided in the following cases:

✗ The service was rendered (style guide was generated and provided for viewing/downloading);

✗ The Customer is dissatisfied with the generation result for subjective reasons;

✗ The result does not meet the Customer's expectations if:

  • The prompt was incorrect or insufficiently detailed;
  • The Customer misinterpreted the AI capabilities;
  • The result does not suit the Customer's specific purposes.

✗ The Customer changed their mind about using the service after it was rendered;

✗ The Customer purchased the wrong amount of credits;

✗ The result turned out to be similar to existing style guides (AI works based on general data);

✗ Lack of commercial effect from using the style guide.

3.2. Justification:

  • The service is provided in the form of a credit system (virtual currency);
  • Credits are credited instantly and can be used immediately;
  • The cost of each operation is displayed before it begins;
  • The user confirms the deduction of credits before each action.

4. When Refunds ARE Possible

4.1. Refunds ARE PROVIDED in the following cases:

4.1.1. Technical Failure During Balance Top-Up

Situation: Money was debited from the card/wallet, but credits were not credited to the balance.

Solution:

  • Review period: 3 business days;
  • Refund period: 10 business days;
  • Alternative: crediting credits to the balance.

4.1.2. Double or Erroneous Charge

Situation: Erroneous repeated debit for one top-up operation.

Solution:

  • Review period: 3 business days;
  • Refund period: 10 business days.

4.1.3. Credit Deduction During Technical Failure

Situation: Credits were deducted, but the generation operation was not completed (server error, API failure).

Solution:

  • Credit restoration: within 24 hours after problem confirmation.

4.1.4. Exceeding Maximum Generation Time

Situation: Generation took more than 2 hours without providing a result.

Solution:

  • Automatic credit restoration to the balance.

4.1.5. Corrupted Result File

Situation: The generated file is corrupted and does not open (after verification by technical support).

Solution:

  • Free re-generation;
  • OR credit restoration.

5. Subjective Reasons (Refunds NOT Provided)

5.1. Unfortunately, we CANNOT refund or restore credits if:

You didn't like the result subjectively (colors, fonts, overall style);

The result doesn't meet your expectations (AI interprets prompts individually);

You expected a different result (it's important to describe in detail in the prompt!);

The style guide didn't suit your project;

You purchased the wrong amount of credits;

You changed your mind about the project.

5.2. Remember: AI generation always has an element of variability. Results may differ even with identical prompts.

6. What We Can Offer Instead of a Refund

6.1. If you are dissatisfied with the result, we can offer:

7. Appeal Procedure

📋 Step 2: Required Information

To review your appeal, please provide:

  • Account email;
  • Date and time of operation;
  • Transaction number (for payments);
  • Problem description;
  • Screenshots (if available).

🔍 Step 3: Verification (1-3 business days)

  • We will check the technical problem;
  • We will try to reproduce and fix it.

💰 Step 4: Resolution

  • Technical payment problems: refund within 10 business days to the same payment method;
  • Technical generation problems: credit restoration within 24 hours.

8. Deadlines for Appeals

Technical payment problems: 7 days from the operation date

Technical generation problems: 7 days from the operation date

⏰ After 7 days, refunds/restorations are NOT provided

9. Refusal of Refund

9.1. The Service Provider has the right to refuse a refund/restoration if:

  • The grounds do not correspond to section 4 of this document;
  • The Customer did not provide the necessary information;
  • The Customer violated the terms of service;
  • The request was sent after the 7-day period expired.

9.2. The refusal of a refund is sent to the Customer's email with justification.

10. Disputed Situations

10.1. In case of disagreement with the Service Provider's decision, the Customer has the right to:

  • Send a repeat appeal with additional arguments;
  • Contact Rospotrebnadzor (Russian Consumer Protection Agency);
  • Go to court.

10.2. The Service Provider strives for pre-trial dispute resolution.

10.3. The claim procedure is mandatory. Claim review period: 10 business days.

11. Your Rights

✓ Receive a technically correct file;

✓ Receive a refund/credit restoration in case of technical problems;

✓ Contact support with any question;

✓ Request a consultation on prompt improvement.
